A storage account with DSD, especially when used in conjunction with the services of ASI, can facilitate the process of purchasing, storing, and liquidating precious metals.  Not only can you engage in precious metal investment while bypassing profit-eroding shipping and insurance costs, you are able to effortlessly liquidate your metal as well.  You can authorize DSD to transfer metal into ASI’s account, lock in a liquidation price, and two business days later be in receipt of your wired proceeds, all from home.

We are staunch advocates of keeping at least a portion of your precious metals in your possession.  If you decide to start taking larger precious metal positions, a completely insured account with a Class III depository could go a long way in alleviating some of the concerns associated with personal storage.

Whether you are opening a DSD account with your new ASAPP LLC or purchasing metals in the name of the LLC, neither of these actions require any extra documentation.  To open your DSD account (after creating your new LLC) simply:

1. simply fill out a Corporate Investor Custody Agreement form
2. and fax it back to them
3. a DSD team member will contact you to finalize your account

Purchasing metal within your LLC is as easy as picking up your phone, calling one of our preferred client representatives, and placing an order.  Upon receipt of cleared funds, ASI will be able to authorize the transfer of metal from our account to yours.
