Gold Bars to Buy

ASI offers outstanding pricing with minimum premiums and renowned service for the buying and selling of gold bullioni bars.  ASI can purchase or liquidate most precious metal bullion products. Most minted bars currently available in the wholesale market are available through ASI.

Gold bars are an exciting way to invest in gold. They carry much lower premiums than gold bullion coins. A huge amount of wealth can be stored and concealed in gold bars. When purchasing bullion, the price consists of the spot pricei (market price) plus a small premium. The smaller the bar, the larger the premium.

  • All gold bars are .9999 fine (99.99 pure).
  • Kilo gold bars contain 32.15 troy ounces.
  • The primary reason for buying one-ounce gold bars instead of one-ounce gold bullion coins is to buy "cheaper gold" or gold with a smaller mark up over the spot price.
  • Hallmarks of gold bars include:  Johnson Matthey, Engelhard, Credit Suisse, PAMP, and RCM.
